In this the largest mixed-use scheme presently under construction in Ireland outside of Dublin, Edward Holdings has applied its skill at rejuvenation to a derelict site in Drogheda’s old industrial heart. The mixed-use scheme will transform the retail scene in Drogheda and its hinterland.

Comprising in its entirety some 80,000 sq m of shopping centre, office, residential and hotel development, Scotch Hall has attracted interest from Irish and international retailers. However it remains only the first phase of Edward Holdings commitment to the development of Drogheda with an application for the development of a further 80,000 sq m of mixed-use development on lands adjacent to he site.

The shopping centre itself consists of some 60 retail units and is anchored by Dunnes Stores and Next. The four star hotel being completed on the banks of the Boyne is to be operated by Edward Holdings’ subsidiary company Monogram Hotels and is to be known as ‘The d’.
